At Wanderer Adventures, we’re committed to making our experiences inclusive and accessible for all guests. Whether you’re joining us on land or sea, we’re here to support your journey every step of the way. Our team is trained to assist, and we encourage open communication so we can provide the best possible experience for everyone.

Visitor Centre & Carpark

Tours begin opposite the Parks Victoria Visitor Centre at Tidal River.

  • Carpark: The carpark is sealed with two designated disabled parking bays located closest to the visitor centre.
  • Access: Guests will need to cross Main Road to access the building.
  • Facilities: Accessible toilets are located throughout the park, including near the visitor centre.

Transport to the Vessel

We understand that beach access can be challenging. To support all guests, we provide:

  • All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV): A specially designed 6-seater ATV is available to transport guests with mobility challenges directly to the beach where vessels depart. This ensures safe and comfortable access without needing to navigate uneven ground.
  • Crew Assistance: Our crew will be on hand to provide guidance and help at every stage of the transfer.

Boarding the Vessel

Boarding takes place from the beach. To support guests:

  • Mobile Stairs: A set of 10-step mobile stairs is positioned on the beach alongside the ATV drop-off point.
  • Crew Support: Our friendly crew is trained to provide personal assistance during boarding. Handholds are available, and crew will ensure steady and safe movement onto the vessel.
  • Safety First: Safety is always our priority. Guests can take their time boarding, and our staff will work with you to ensure you feel secure and comfortable.

Onboard Experience

  • Seating: Crew will guide you to suitable seats depending on your needs and conditions on the day.
  • Ride Comfort: As with many vessels, the rear section provides the smoothest ride over waves. Guests seeking reduced motion are encouraged to sit here.
  • Crew Support: Throughout the cruise, our crew are available to help with movement or any other support you may require.

Communication & Preparation

  • Advance Notice: We encourage guests to inform us of any specific mobility needs at the time of booking. This helps us prepare the ATV, additional crew support, or other arrangements to ensure a smooth experience.
  • On-the-Day Support: If you need assistance at any time during your adventure, please don’t hesitate to ask. Our staff are approachable and ready to help.

Wanderer Adventures strives to ensure that everyone can enjoy the spectacular beauty of Wilsons Promontory.
